ATM Milano
 MI1503.GIF
ATM Milano - '1928' (1929)
The first look of the '1928' series was quite different from the present one, not only due to the livery. At that time, the third door was not yet present (it was added a few years later, when the tram became green): the rear part of the tram was occupied by an elegant parlour. In 1997 the unit 1503 was restored in the aspect it had when it was new: only the presence of the modern pantograph reveals that it belongs to the present days.
Painted by Pier from Denmark.
Era 2

 MI1928W.GIF
ATM Milano 1844 (1946)
The 1844 unit of the "Ventotto" series, rebuilt after destruction of 2nd World War, as it could be seen in summer 1946. Many windows are still missing of their glasses, and are closed by simple wood panels, giving a strong idea of such dramatic period of Italian history (a photo of this unit can be found in book "Un tram che si chiama Milano" by Guido Boreani).
Era 3

ATM Milano - 5000

Painted byClaudio Vianini.

Please note: tram and trolleybuses in green livery, together with cars, are assigned to the "bus" category in the INI file, while orange livery vehicles are assigned to the "tram" category. In this way, there is no "mixing" of the two liveries (or eras) when different vehicles run on the same track or come to the bus-stop.
The bus-stop effect is obtained with the FLAG=16 parameter in the INI file.
