Inscription in Florence Santa Maria Novella

Florence main station, designed by Arch. Giovanni Michelucci, was opened in 1935 and is considered the best example of Italian functionalist architecture for railways. It is perfectly preserved, not only in the forms, but also in most of its original inscriptions.
Photos were taken in April 2006. I hope I'll never come back to Florence and find that the station had turned into a department store.
